Forword: Addington-Barker Group International (ABGI) was formed in the UK in 1992 from the merger of ProCAM World-Wide formed in 1983 and Robo-Dynamics Limited which was formed in 1987 in the respective areas of Nuclear Engineering, Project Management & Consultancy and Engineering Design, Simulation & Virtual Reality. The company at this time was also taking the lead in research and development (R&D) work in the specific area of wing in ground effects, at both Cranfield and Oxford University in the UK during the early 90's.

Early in 1997 ABGI became involved in a number of ground breaking Nuclear Safety projects using virtual environments and environmental handling systems for the safe operation of remote vehicles and manipulators such as the SNAKES and HDM's in hazardous environments.

During 1998 - 1999 ABGI for a number of projects in the field of Project Monitoring, Management & Consultancy with a number of UK Nuclear power stations for repair and  decommissioning projects and the UK Ministry of Defence, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme, (NNPP).

Addington-Barker Group International has its specialist areas in Engineering Solutions, supporting companies throughout Europe, in fields from Nuclear Engineering (Nuclear Submarines, Facilities and Power Stations) to Construction Project Monitoring and Management of Complex Facilities, (Tall Buildings, Office and Shopping Complexes, Quays, large Steel frame and Re-enforced Concrete Buildings and Storage/Warehouse Facilities including many Civil Structures), also including specialist areas in Nuclear and Conventional Safety. ABGI has offices in the UK: (London, Manchester), Central Europe: France (Paris and Nice), Spain: (Barcelona) and Eastern Europe: Russia (Moscow) and the Ukraine: (Kiev and Sevastopol)

ABGI now also provide a unique 3D project management tool developed by the CEO of our Group for the visualization of complex projects and constructions, where your project can be viewed in your office or online in 3d against your Construction Programme. This offers a unique insight into the progress of your project and comes at no extra cost when using our services.

Addington-Barker Group International is also playing a lead role in Environmental remote handling Projects (Remote Operations) and projected virtual reality environments using I-Grip software (United Kingdom), Building/Structure Structural collapse phasing and dynamics for New construction Nuclear Power Stations (2008-2016 France), and the new phase of Nuclear Decommissioning and remote environmental handling (2006-2014 Ukraine), and our Special Projects Division is continuing their research into wing in ground effects, including a new concept surface effect craft to be produced by Honda (Japan).

Other News: 3d Programme Monitoring (VRPM)

The components of this particular model can be linked to the decommissioning or project programme in order to visualise and optimise the process, running multiple sequences and give an excellent level site familiarisation for training purposes.
